The Classic World vintage wooden phone looks like grandma's old telephone: insert a coin, dial the number and call your loved ones.

This wooden toy telephone is designed in vintage style and invites children to talk. Your child lifts the handset, puts a coin in the slot and dials, and a mechanical bell rings without batteries. Play teaches holding a dialogue, expressing thoughts and listening to the other person. The phone is made of quality wood and the set has 4 pieces. It is also a lovely decoration for a child's room.

What your child develops

• Communication skills. Your child practises conversation.
• Imagination. Calls to friends, the doctor or firefighters.
• Fine motor skills. Inserting coins and dialling.
• Curiosity. How did phones work in the past?

How to play

Play a call to grandma – your child dials and you answer and ask how they are.

Play ordering by phone: pizza, a cake or a taxi – and teach your child to say their address.
