The Classic World EDU cabasa is a fun percussion instrument that invites children to experiment with sound.

This wooden cabasa has metal bead chains wrapped around a wooden cylinder. To make a sound, children turn it in their hands or rub a palm across the beads – creating shaking rhythms and different sound effects. It is made of quality materials, painted with non-toxic paints, comfortable for small hands and has no sharp edges.

What your child develops

• Sense of rhythm. Different rhythms.
• Hearing. Telling sounds apart.
• Dexterity. Turning and rubbing.
• Imagination. Own sounds.

How to play

Try different ways: turn slowly, turn fast, brush gently with a palm.

Combine the cabasa with claves or a drum and form a family orchestra.
