The Classic World Montessori vegetable puzzle is a wooden board with 6 colourful vegetables to fit into the right places.

This wooden vegetable puzzle helps children discover vegetables and learn through shape matching. The set includes a board and 6 colourful vegetables – a carrot, a tomato, an onion, a mushroom, corn and a radish. The task is to place each piece in its slot, which is great practice for precision and dexterity. The pieces are chunky, easy to grasp and painted with safe, non-toxic paints. Inspired by Montessori, the puzzle supports independent learning, and the sturdy wooden build lasts. For children from 3 years.

What your child develops

• Hand-eye coordination. Placing pieces in slots.
• Fine motor skills. Grasping and turning.
• Shapes and colours. Finding the right spot.
• Nutrition. Learning vegetable names.

How to play

Take out all the vegetables and name them together, then your child puts them back, repeating each name.

After the puzzle, use the vegetables in a play kitchen or shop too.
