Classic World ZOO lacing blocks are colourful wooden animals – a panda, lion, giraffe, crocodile and more – for toddlers to thread on a string.

This wooden animal lacing set is ideal for learning through play. It includes 12 blocks with zoo motifs and a threading string. As children thread the animals they train dexterity and precision while learning to recognise animals, shapes and colours. The blocks can also be grouped and used for zoo stories. They are made of solid wood painted with safe paints.

What your child develops

• Dexterity. Threading and grasping.
• Animal recognition. Zoo residents.
• Patience. Finishing the task.
• Imagination. Stories about the zoo.

How to play

Name each animal and copy its sound before threading it on the string.

Thread the animals by size or colour and make a "zoo parade".
