Masterkidz translucent mosaic blocks are a riot of colours and shapes that turns children into little mosaic architects.

These translucent geometric shapes are ideal for learning geometry through play. The set contains 140 pieces in six colours – hexagons, squares, trapezoids, triangles, rhombuses and parallelograms – plus a dice. Kids create pictures, patterns and symmetrical mosaics. On a light panel or by the window each shape glows, and the play table becomes a colourful light lab. Squares are 25 mm per side, hexagons around 50 mm.

What your child develops

• Imagination. Own mosaics and pictures.
• Geometry. Names and properties of shapes.
• Fine motor skills. Sorting and arranging.
• Logical thinking. Symmetry and patterns.

How to play

Roll the dice and place as many shapes as it shows, or build a butterfly with symmetrical wings.

Put the shapes on a sunny windowsill and watch the colourful shadows.
