The Rolly Toys CAT metal wheelbarrow – a real garden helper for little workers, styled after the famous construction brand.

This kids' metal wheelbarrow with an official CAT licence is made for outdoor play. Rolly Toys is a well-known maker of children's vehicles, and here the tray and frame are metal, so the wheelbarrow is far sturdier than typical plastic toys. The materials resist weather and UV light, so it can live in the garden or by the sandbox. Your child can carry sand, leaves, pebbles or toys and genuinely help with garden jobs. The wheelbarrow is about 80 cm long. From 3 years.

What your child develops

• Strength. Pushing and lifting loads.
• Balance. Steering on one wheel.
• Responsibility. Helping in the garden.
• Coordination. Steering between beds.

How to play

In autumn, rake leaves together – your child wheels them to the compost heap.

In the sandbox, the wheelbarrow becomes a building-site dump truck.
