The Tooky Toy wooden food basket has 21 pieces: Velcro fruit, vegetables, meat and fish, a board and a knife.

This wooden play food basket brings your child into the exciting world of role play. It includes a practical green basket with a handle and a wide selection of wooden foods – fruit, vegetables, meat and fish – that can be safely cut with the included knife. The foods have Velcro, so they can be cut and rejoined again and again. Your child feels like a real chef while building dexterity, coordination and imagination. Durable wood painted with safe, non-toxic paints in bright colours. Size: 24 × 18 × 13 cm. For children from 3 years.

What your child develops

• Dexterity and precision. Cutting along the Velcro.
• Hand-eye coordination. Aiming the knife.
• Imagination and creativity. Cooking their own meals.
• Recognising foods. Learning names and colours.

How to play

Play shopping: your child “shops” with the basket, then cuts the food at home and makes lunch.

Sort the foods: which are fruit, which are vegetables, and which are meat and fish.
