The Viga pre-writing board is a great way to practise hand control before learning to write.

This wooden pre-writing tracing board has delicately engraved, curved grooves and shapes that children follow with a wooden pen. Tracing the lines again and again teaches hand control and builds the muscle memory needed for drawing and writing. The compact size means the board can be held or used on a table. The set includes the board and a wooden pen.

What your child develops

• Dexterity. Smooth movements.
• Pre-writing. Muscle memory.
• Hand-eye coordination. Following the line.

How to play

Start with the simplest lines and slowly trace them with the pen from start to finish.
