The Viga PolarB wooden push car could become your baby's first favourite vehicle. It is simple, soft green, easy to grip and has quiet wheels. For babies from 6 months.

This wooden push car for babies is from the Viga PolarB line with its simple pastel design. At about 14 × 5 cm, it is easy to hold in a small hand. The wheels roll quietly and smoothly, the edges are rounded, and the manufacturer states it is painted with non-toxic paint. The car is made of wood and suits girls and boys alike.

What your child develops

• Fine motor skills. Gripping and pushing the car train hands and fingers.
• Movement coordination. Your baby learns to push the car forward and follow it with their eyes.
• Cause and effect. Give it a push and the car rolls away.
• Imagination. As your child grows, they start inventing where the car is going and what it carries.

How to play

Sit on the floor facing your baby and slowly roll the car towards them. Let them grab it and try to push it back. Once your baby starts crawling, the car becomes something to crawl after. Later it can drive along "roads" and into "garages" made of blocks.

Its small size makes it easy to take along on visits or to grandparents.

Why a wooden car

A wooden car feels pleasant to touch, has a natural weight and lasts a long time. Its simple shape, with no lights or sounds, lets your baby focus on the movement itself.

A great gift

The wooden car is a small but sweet gift for a baby from six months – for a christening, a first birthday or to bring when visiting.
