About this product
The Viga wooden geometric shape sorter helps toddlers learn shapes, colours and counting – each block must find its own matching peg.
This wooden shape sorter is a learning toy with five pegs in different shapes. The challenge of this seemingly simple game is fitting each block onto the matching peg. As they play, children build manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and logical thinking. Bright colours attract and hold attention. The sorter has no sharp edges, is well sanded and painted with non-toxic paint. The set has 12 pieces and measures about 31 × 13 × 8 cm.
What your child develops
- Manual skills. Blocks slide onto the pegs.
- Logical thinking. Find which shape goes where.
- Colours and shapes. Each shape has its own colour.
- Counting. Blocks on each peg can be counted.
How to play
Start with one peg and let your toddler stack only the round blocks. Then add the other shapes.
