The Woopie pink octopus is a small skill game: moles pop up in different places and your toddler has to push them back down as fast as possible.

This whack-a-mole game for toddlers trains reflexes, observation, manual dexterity and visual sharpness. The aim is to save the carrot crop from the moles by poking them back into their holes. The three buttons are soft and pleasant to touch. A string can be attached so your toddler can carry or pull the octopus along. Play anywhere – at home or outdoors. The toy also comes in green; this one is pink.

What your child develops

• Reflexes. Catch the mole while it is up.
• Observation. Spot where the mole appears.
• Manual dexterity. Buttons are pressed with a finger.
• Visual perception. Eyes follow the movement.

How to play

Press one mole together with your toddler and say “boom!”. Then let them look for the next one.

On a walk, attach the string and let your toddler take the pink octopus along.
