About this product
The Woopie Baby sensory ball is a colourful teether for babies from 6 months. Its many stretchy loops are easy to grab, and four different textures introduce new sensations.
This sensory ball teether combines two functions – a sensory toy and a teether. The openwork design with lots of loops lets your baby hold, turn and explore the ball from every side. The different surfaces and bumps are suitable for gentle gum massage while teething. Bright, contrasting colours catch your baby's eye. The ball is light, made of plastic, measures 13 × 13 × 12 cm and suits girls and boys alike. Its simple design with no complex mechanisms lets your little one work out how to play on their own.
What your child develops
- Sense of touch. Four different textures introduce new sensations for fingers and mouth.
- Grip. The loops are just the right size for a small hand to close around.
- Fine motor skills. Turning the ball and passing it from hand to hand train the fingers.
- Hand-eye coordination. Your baby learns to grab the loop they are looking at.
- Attention. Colours and shapes hold your baby's interest for longer.
How to play
Place the ball in front of your baby on a play mat or put it in their hand. Turn it, let it roll away and encourage your baby to reach for it. Name the colours and textures: "soft", "bumpy", "red".
The ball is light, so it is easy to take on walks, visits or to nursery. On teething days it may well become your baby's favourite teether.
