Woopie kids' badminton rackets are large, light and safe – just right for little ones to hit the ball or shuttlecock easily. A foam ball is included too.

These foam badminton rackets are designed for active, happy play outdoors and at home. The two large 50 cm rackets are made of light EVA foam with secure tension, so children do not tire or risk getting hurt. The big hitting surface makes it easy to connect, keeping the game simple and fun. Foam-covered handles are comfortable and non-slip. The set also includes a colourful soft-tip shuttlecock and a safe foam ball. Designed for children aged 3 and up, for the yard, garden, beach or home.

What your child develops

• Hand-eye coordination. Your child learns to follow the ball and hit it in time.
• Reflexes. Children quickly work out where the shuttlecock is heading.
• Motor skills and fitness. Running after the ball keeps them active.
• Teamwork. Playing with siblings or parents teaches working together.
• Confidence. Large rackets bring quick success.

How to play

With younger children, start with the foam ball: stand close, hit gently and count how many times it stays up. Once that works, move on to the shuttlecock.

The rackets are light and soft, so they can even be used in a large room on a rainy day. In summer they are perfect for the beach and picnics.

The foam badminton rackets are a good gift for children aged 3 and up in spring or summer – for a birthday or before a holiday.
