About this product
Woopie Code Breaker is a competitive logic game for two: each player sets a secret colour code, and you have to crack your opponent's code from the clues. The set has a board and 270 pieces.
This code-breaking logic game begins with each player "writing" a secret code with coloured pegs on their side of the board. Players then take turns making guesses, also with coloured pegs. Correct colours are marked on the other side of the board with white and black pegs, and the code is gradually worked out. The game is made of plastic, designed for children from 3 years, and can be played with parents, brothers, sisters or friends.
What your child develops
- Logical thinking. Each clue shows which colours are right and which need to change.
- Memory. Players need to remember earlier guesses and their results.
- Colour recognition. The large pegs come in eight colours to tell apart and name.
- Healthy competition. Whoever cracks the code first wins, which keeps everyone thinking.
- Fine motor skills. Pushing pegs into the board trains small fingers.
How to play
With younger children, start with a short code and just a few colours so the rules are easy to follow. Play as a team at first: an adult sets the code, the child guesses, and together you talk about what each white and black peg means. Once the idea clicks, swap roles.
For older children it becomes a real contest where every move needs thought. It suits family evenings and long holidays. Please note that the instructions in the box are in English.
