Woopie colourful dominoes are the classic game in a modern version: the dots on each tile are coloured, so they are easier to spot and match.

This dominoes game for kids has entertained and taught generations. Simple rules mean children and adults can play together, making it great for family evenings. Bright colours make matching tiles easier, and the sturdy build lasts. The set has 28 tiles, each about 4.3 × 2.1 × 0.6 cm, stored in a colourful box. One or more players can play. The tiles can also be lined up and toppled in a chain.

What your child develops

• Logical thinking and planning. Choose which tile to play.
• Concentration. Keep track of the open ends.
• Visual matching. Colours and dots are compared.
• Social skills. Group play teaches teamwork.

How to play

For younger children, start by matching colours – place a tile next to the same colour. Later count the dots.

Build a long line of tiles and push the first – they all fall one after another.
