The Woopie Green Mega Farm is a large wooden set for building your own farmyard at home: a barn, stable, henhouse, pond and six animals. 18 pieces in total.

This wooden toy farm takes children to the countryside – to animals, nature and a farmer's daily jobs. The set includes three wooden buildings, a yard with a pond and the animals: a horse, hen, pig, sheep, dog and duck, along with a tree, hay and other farm accessories. It is easy to put together, and the finished farm measures about 62 × 50 × 30 cm. It is designed for children from 3 years, girls and boys alike, and is perfect for playing together as a family.

What your child develops

• Imagination and creativity. Your child invents stories and runs the farm by their own rules.
• Understanding of nature. Children learn where each animal lives and what it needs.
• Empathy and care. "Feeding" and looking after the animals teaches caring for others.
• Fine motor skills. Moving animals and pieces around trains hand precision.
• Language. Animal names, their sounds and farm words build vocabulary.

How to play

Put the farm together and decide which animal lives where: the horse in the stable, the hen in the henhouse, the duck by the pond. Then your child becomes the farmer – the morning starts with feeding, during the day the hay needs moving, and in the evening everyone goes home. The dog can guard the yard, while the sheep escapes to the pond.

The farm is also great for playing with siblings and friends, since everyone can have their own role. You can add other animal figures and tractors over time.

Why a wooden farm

Wooden buildings are sturdy, have a natural texture and last a long time. There are no electronics, so all the sounds and stories come from your child.
