About this product
Woopie Green city cubes are colourful numbered buildings to stack into a tower, nest inside each other and drive wooden cars into. For toddlers from 12 months.
These city stacking cubes with cars are a lovely alternative to ordinary blocks and puzzles. Each cube shows a town building – a fire station, a school or a hospital – and they are numbered 1 to 5 by size. Openings in the cubes let the cars drive in, and the cubes can also store small items. The set includes five wooden cars on rubber wheels. The signs on the buildings are in English, so toddlers hear their first foreign words. The manufacturer states the paint is non-toxic.
What your child develops
- Creativity and imagination. Your child makes up stories about life in town.
- Visual perception. Cubes are sorted by size, shape and colour.
- Logical thinking. Which car goes to which building?
- Knowledge of the world. Toddlers learn about vehicles and town services.
- Counting. Numbers 1 to 5 help with counting.
How to play
Stack the cubes from biggest to smallest and let your toddler knock the tower down. Then decide which car goes to the hospital and which to the fire station.
Older toddlers can nest the cubes or line up all five buildings as a street and drive the cars along it.
