The Woopie toy chainsaw is a big, realistic tool for little handymen and gardeners: the rubber chain turns and real engine sounds play.

This toy chainsaw for kids recreates a real petrol chainsaw for safe grown-up role play. It has a moving soft rubber chain and realistic engine sounds. Starting it mimics a real tool: after switching on with the start handle, press the top button on the handle and then the bottom one, and the chain begins to turn. Made of quality plastic in red, 37 × 15 × 10 cm. The manufacturer states it is CE marked. It needs 3 AA batteries, not included.

What your child develops

• Imagination and creativity. Your child plays a forester or gardener.
• Manual skills. The start-up sequence takes precise actions.
• Copying adult roles. Your child can ‘help’ in the garden with you.

How to play

While parents work in the garden, your child ‘saws’ branches and stacks them in a pile. Teach the start-up sequence – that is a task in itself.

Add a tool belt and helmet to make play even more realistic.

A great gift

The toy chainsaw is a good gift for children aged 3 and up who love tools and gardening – for a birthday or Christmas.
