Woopie kinetic sand in a basket lets children play with sand at home without spreading it all over the flat. The set has sand in four colours, lots of moulds and an inflatable tray.

This kinetic sand in a basket is soft to touch, easy to shape and holds its form. The manufacturer states it does not dry out, needs no wetting and does not stick to hands or floors. Inside are sand in four colours, a wide range of moulds – animals (elephant, dolphin, alligator, fish), vehicles (car, train) and buildings (house, mushroom) – sculpting tools, an inflatable play tray and a practical basket with handle and clasp. About 0.8 kg of sand in total. Designed for children aged 3 and up, girls and boys alike.

What your child develops

• Creativity and spatial imagination. Your child moulds animals, houses and whole scenes.
• Manual skills. Kneading and shaping train precise movements.
• Hand-eye coordination. Each shape has to be released without breaking.
• Sense of touch. Soft sand is a pleasant sensory exercise.
• Patience. Detailed scenes take care.

How to play

Inflate the tray, pour in the sand and let your child create their own world: a house, a train and a zoo with an elephant and a dolphin.

After play, pour the sand back into the basket and close it. The tray helps keep things tidy, and the basket fits neatly on a shelf.

A great gift

The kinetic sand basket is a good gift for children aged 3 and up – for a birthday or Christmas, when outdoor sand is out of reach.
