The Woopie kinetic sand farm is a big sensory box: 1.5 kg of brown sand that looks like farmland, a tractor, farmers and animals. Everything stores in a green case with a handle.

This kinetic sand farm set is made for little lovers of nature and country life. The sand is soft, pleasant to touch and easy to shape, and the manufacturer states it does not dry out. The large green case acts as a portable sandpit and storage box and keeps sand from spilling. Included are a green tractor, four farmer figures, a horse, cow, sheep, pig, goat, dog, cat and rabbit, fences, a wheelbarrow, forks, rakes, milk churns, a bucket and sacks.

What your child develops

• Knowledge of nature. Children learn about country life and animals.
• Fine motor skills. Shaping sand and placing figures train fingers.
• Spatial imagination. Your child lays out fields, roads and the farmyard.
• Sense of touch. Soft sand is a lovely sensory experience.
• Role play and caring. The farmer looks after the animals.

How to play

Open the case, smooth the sand and ‘plough’ a field with the tractor. Build a fence, put the animals in the paddock and share out jobs among the farmers.

After play, everything goes back in the case and the lid closes – the room stays clean.

A great gift

The farm set is a good gift for children aged 3 and up who love tractors and animals – for a birthday or Christmas.
