Woopie large rackets are a two-player set for tennis or badminton: two rackets, a ball and a shuttlecock. They get children and adults playing outdoors.

These large rackets for kids are 54 cm long, with comfortable grips sized for children's hands and flexible mesh that sends the ball further. The set has two rackets, a ball and a shuttlecock, so you can play simple tennis or badminton. The rackets are made of plastic. The game builds gross motor skills and coordination, and parents can join in. Designed for children aged 3 and up, girls and boys alike.

What your child develops

• Gross motor skills. Swinging, running and jumping work the whole body.
• Hand-eye coordination. The ball has to be hit at the right moment.
• Reactions. Children learn to move quickly to the ball.
• Playing together. A two-player game teaches teamwork.

How to play

Start with the ball: stand close and hit gently, counting how many times it stays up. Then switch to the shuttlecock for badminton.

The large mesh helps younger children connect, so early success comes quickly.

The rackets are a good spring or summer gift for children aged 3 and up – for a birthday or before a holiday.
