Woopie Little Archaeologist – chip, brush and discover six dinosaur skeletons!

This dinosaur excavation kit takes children into the fascinating world of palaeontology. Young explorers feel like real scientists freeing the bones of giant reptiles from plaster. The set includes six plaster rocks with hidden dinosaur skeletons, palaeontologist tools – a hammer, brush, chisel and water sprayer – and safety glasses. Spray the rock with water, put on the glasses and carefully chip away the plaster with the hammer and chisel, then clean the find with the brush. Finally, rinse and dry the skeleton. It combines fun with learning and builds imagination, precision and patience. From 8 years.

What your child develops

• Curiosity. Prehistoric animals.
• Precision. Careful chipping.
• Patience. Slowly, so nothing breaks.
• Logical thinking. Assembling skeletons.

How to play

Before you start, put on the glasses and set up your “dig site” on newspaper.

Once all six are found, compare which dinosaur is biggest and read about them in a book.
