The Woopie remote control combine harvester takes children to a real farm: it drives, spins its header, shines its lights, roars like the real thing and even “smokes”.

This RC combine harvester is a detailed 1:24 scale model. The remote steers it forward, back, left and right. While driving the header spins, and it folds into transport position. The harvester plays working-machine sounds, the front LED lights switch on and off from the remote, and the smoke effect – with its water-filling container – makes play even more realistic. Control range is about 30 m. The built-in Li-ion battery (500 mAh) charges via USB in about 90 minutes and gives 30–40 minutes of play. The harvester is about 26 × 17 × 21 cm, with a 22 cm wide header.

What your child develops

• Imagination. Your child takes on the role of a farmer.
• Hand-eye coordination. Steering with the remote builds precision.
• Knowledge of farming. Children learn how a combine works.
• Concentration. They have to watch where the harvester goes.

How to play

Set up a “field” on the floor with obstacles and steer the harvester along a winding route without touching them. Switch on the lights and smoke while it works.

Combine the harvester with other farm toys and play out the harvest.
