The Woopie velcro catch game is an active throw and catch game: the soft ball sticks to the paddle, so even little ones can make the catch.

This catch ball paddle game has two waterproof paddles with strong velcro and a comfortable adjustable strap that fits snugly on the hand. Throw the ball to your partner, who tries to catch it with their paddle. The rules are simple, so it suits children and adults alike. Waterproof materials mean you can play in the water, in the pool or on the beach too. The set is light, and everything packs into a handy bag for the garden, park or a picnic.

What your child develops

• Hand-eye coordination. Follow the ball and catch it.
• Reaction speed. Raise the paddle at the right moment.
• Teamwork. Play in pairs or in a group.
• Physical activity. Running and jumping in the fresh air.

How to play

Start close and throw the ball gently. Once catches work, step further back.

Count how many catches you make in a row, or play in the pool.
