The Woopie wind-up turtle makes bath time more fun. Turn the knob on its back, pop it in the water, and it paddles its legs and swims. No batteries needed.

This wind-up bath toy is simple to use: just turn the knob behind the turtle's head, and in the water it swims and spins, moving its flippers. The turtle is made of durable, water-resistant plastic that is easy to clean. It suits the bath, the pool and summer play by the water. The manufacturer recommends it for children aged 3 and up, girls and boys alike. Its bright blue colour catches the eye and makes everyday bathing feel less of a chore.

What your child develops

• Hand-eye coordination. Your child winds up the turtle and watches where it swims.
• Manual dexterity. Turning the knob trains finger strength and movement.
• Visual perception. Your child follows the movement in the water and notices how it changes.
• Imagination. The turtle becomes the hero of bath-time adventures.

How to play

Show how to turn the knob and let your child wind the turtle up. Watch together where it swims and try to catch it. With several toys in the bath, have a race to see which goes furthest.

In summer, take the turtle to the pool or the lake. After play, simply rinse and dry it.

A great gift

The swimming turtle is a small gift for children aged 3 and up – something to bring when visiting or an extra with a bigger present.
