The Classic World Forest World 50-block set is a great start to a little builder's collection – trees, animals and forest scenes in one box.

These forest themed wooden blocks come in different shapes and colours, so toddlers can build freely and learn how blocks hold together. Pictures of trees and animals inspire stories and grow vocabulary. The compact 50-block set is easy to store and suits home or travel. The blocks are durable, safe and free from harmful substances, and they combine with the 100-block set.

What your child develops

• Imagination. Stories about forest animals.

How to play

Show how to build a simple tower and let your toddler knock it down – that is just as fun as building.
