The Tooky Toy wooden recycling centre helps children understand through play how to sort waste and why it matters.

In this waste sorting game children become little planet savers: colourful cards with different kinds of rubbish have to be sorted into the right bins. A tricky topic becomes easy to grasp while logical thinking is trained and good habits are formed. The centre is made of top-quality wood, painted with non-toxic paints and packed in a nice box, so it works well as a gift.

What your child develops

• Eco awareness. How to care for nature.
• Logical thinking. Where does each item belong?
• Colour recognition. Colourful bins.
• Good habits. Sorting every day.

How to play

Look at the cards together and talk about what each item is made of – paper, plastic or glass.

After the game sort real rubbish at home together and see if your child remembers the right bins.

The recycling centre is a thoughtful gift for a preschooler.
