With the Woopie Baby pop-up vehicles toy, your toddler presses a button, turns a knob or flips a switch, and a colourful car pops up from its window. For toddlers from 18 months.

This pop-up cars toy teaches one of the first big lessons – cause and effect. Each car has its own control: a switch, a knob or a button, so your toddler has to try different movements. When a car pops up, it brings joy and the urge to do it again. The toy is made of durable, colourful plastic. It is designed for children from 18 months, girls and boys alike, and lets your little one play independently for a while.

What your child develops

• Cause and effect. Your toddler sees that their own movement makes the car pop up.
• Fine motor skills. Pressing, turning and switching train a range of finger movements.
• Hand-eye coordination. Each car has to be pushed back into its window.
• Senses and perception. Colours and movement hold your toddler's attention.
• Thinking skills. Your child remembers which control opens which window.

How to play

Show one movement: press a button and let the car pop up. Push it back down and let your toddler have a go. Name the colours and actions: "press", "turn", "the blue car popped up". Bit by bit, your little one will master every control.

The toy works on the floor or a table. It comes in handy when parents need a minute and your toddler needs something interesting to do.

A great gift

The pop-up vehicles toy is a good gift for a child of one and a half to two – for a birthday, for Christmas or to bring when visiting.
