About this product
The Woopie Green wooden burger is an educational game for little chefs: stack a burger from buns and ingredients in the right order to match a card, or invent your own.
This wooden burger stacking game teaches logical thinking, concentration, creativity and memory. Your child picks the ingredients they need and, looking at thickness and colour, stacks them in the right order. Add a memory challenge by building the burger from memory, or from the side view only with the ingredients covered on the card. The set has 2 buns, 8 ingredients such as lettuce, cheese, meat and tomato, and 5 cards with 10 burger patterns. The pieces are wooden with rounded edges, and the manufacturer states the wood is FSC certified.
What your child develops
- Manual skills. Stacking ingredients precisely trains fine motor skills.
- Imagination and creativity. Your own burger leaves room for invention.
- Logical thinking. Ingredients go in the order shown on the card.
- Memory. Rebuild the burger once the card is hidden.
- Role play. Your child becomes the chef serving guests.
How to play
Pick a card and let your child build the burger. Then turn the card over and try it from memory. Or cover the ingredients on the card and show only the side view.
Set up a "burger bar": your child is the chef and you are the guest ordering a burger. Then swap roles.
