The Woopie magic cauldron – mix, fill and watch a flat mould turn into a 3D figure!

This STEM experiment kit turns a child's room into a little magic laboratory. Mix water with magic powder in the cauldron, fill the moulds with coloured gel and dip them into the solution. After a short while the flat mould becomes a three-dimensional water figure ready for play in water. The cauldron's functions are run with a button panel, and the whole process takes five simple steps. Finished figures can be kept in water for a long time, so the collection grows with every experiment. It's a safe first look at simple chemistry through hands-on experience. 21 pieces, from 3 years.

What your child develops

• Curiosity. How does gel set?
• Patience. Wait for the result.
• Fine motor skills. Filling the moulds.
• Creativity. Their own figures.

How to play

Before the experiment, ask your child to guess what the figure will be.

Create an “underwater world” for the figures in a bowl of water.
