The Woopie gear building site – turn the crank or switch on the motor, and the digger arm starts moving!

This interactive gear building set is an exciting journey into mechanics for young children. A colourful gear system with a construction theme lets them build moving structures. The toy has two modes: battery power, which runs the mechanism to cheerful music, and manual mode, where children turn the gears with a handy crank. Large, safe pieces with digger, dump truck and cement mixer graphics fit small hands, encouraging creative connections and showing how one moving piece drives the next, including the digger's moving arm. The visible mechanism helps children understand how gears work. The set has 18 pieces: the main module, colourful gears, a digger arm and a crank. Requires 3 × AA batteries (not included). From 3 years.

What your child develops

• Hand skills. Joining gears.
• Logical thinking. How motion transfers.
• Spatial thinking. Their own layouts.
• Cause and effect. One turns them all.

How to play

Arrange the gears so the crank moves the digger arm.

Switch on the motor and watch which gear turns faster – the big or the small one.
