About this product
The red Woopie 3D maze is a ball with a complex network of paths hidden inside. The small ball has to be guided to the end by turning the whole sphere.
This 3D ball maze is a spatial skill game with no electronics. Your child holds the sphere and slowly turns it so the ball rolls along narrow bridges, curves and turns. One wrong move and the ball drops, so it is back to the start. That is exactly what makes the game gripping and teaches children not to give up. The clear shell shows the whole route, and the round shape sits comfortably in small hands. The maze is about 10 cm across, light and good for travel.
What your child develops
- Motor coordination. Both hands have to work together.
- Spatial imagination. Your child pictures where the ball will roll next.
- Observation. Every turn in the path has to be spotted.
- Patience. After a mistake, it is back to the start.
How to play
Show how to turn the sphere slowly so the ball moves forward. At first a few steps are enough; later the goal is to reach the finish.
Time each try or count how many times the ball falls, and aim to do better each round.
